Reminder:

The true equivalent of circumcision is not a haircut.

Not a nail clipping.

Not an ear piercing.

Not cutting the umbilical cord (you shouldn’t do that prematurely btw)

It’s having your eyelid cut off and going blind!

Then being told you’ll see better without it.

It’s being told the moisture it protected was “unclean.”

That the nerves it held didn’t matter.

That you’ll “get used to it.”

That it’s “better this way.”

That you should be grateful.

And if your vision blurs?

If your eyes ache, dry out, or stop working the way they should?

You’ll be told:

“That’s just how it is for everyone. Get over it.”

I want you to know and understand that if they devalue a single square inch of your anatomy. They devalue the entirety of your anatomy.
